{"id":132,"date":"2008-10-16T20:40:45","date_gmt":"2008-10-17T04:40:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.imageswithin.com\/blog\/?p=132"},"modified":"2011-02-26T12:49:18","modified_gmt":"2011-02-26T20:49:18","slug":"pacific-coast-air-museum","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.imageswithin.com\/blog\/2008\/10\/16\/pacific-coast-air-museum\/","title":{"rendered":"Pacific Coast Air Museum"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to drive by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pacificcoastairmuseum.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Pacific Coast Air Museum<\/a> located by the Santa Rosa Airport, I have been meaning to go there for a while to sketch some of the planes. I figure I would take a couple of pictures so you can see\u00a0a few of\u00a0the planes they have there.<\/p>\n<p>I also just found out that this weekend October 18th and October 19th is their Top Gun Weekend, they are going to allow visitors to sit in the cockpit of these planes <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pacificcoastairmuseum.org\/aircraft\/F14ATomcat.asp\" target=\"_blank\">F-14A Tomcat<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imageswithin.com\/blog\/wp-admin\/2002Site\/aircraftPCAM\/F14_Tomcat\/F14_Tomcat_home.asp\"><\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pacificcoastairmuseum.org\/aircraft\/F16NViper.asp\" target=\"_blank\">F-16N Viper<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pacificcoastairmuseum.org\/aircraft\/F5ETigerII.asp\" target=\"_blank\">F-5E Tiger II<\/a>, now how cool is that.<\/p>\n<p>I hope I can make it to this weekend&#8217;s event, most likely I wont time to sketch.. perhaps one of these days we can do a mini SketchCrawl there, so if you live in Sonoma County, Marin County or surrounding areas and want to set a date\/time for some Saturday please let me know.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-137\" title=\"air_museum1\" src=\"https:\/\/www.imageswithin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/air_museum1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"442\" height=\"533\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.imageswithin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/air_museum1.jpg 442w, https:\/\/www.imageswithin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/10\/air_museum1-248x300.jpg 248w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 442px) 100vw, 442px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to drive by the Pacific Coast Air Museum located by the Santa Rosa Airport, I have been meaning to go there for a while to sketch some of the planes.
