{"id":22,"date":"2008-02-13T03:02:58","date_gmt":"2008-02-13T11:02:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.imageswithin.com\/blog\/2008\/02\/13\/sunny-san-francisco\/"},"modified":"2008-02-20T01:11:29","modified_gmt":"2008-02-20T09:11:29","slug":"sunny-san-francisco","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.imageswithin.com\/blog\/2008\/02\/13\/sunny-san-francisco\/","title":{"rendered":"Sunny San Francisco"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It sure was nice to be in San Francisco on Tuesday, it was a very nice and sunny day.<\/p>\n<p>Took a quick trip to the Coit tower, and decided to take the time to practice some more artmaking.<\/p>\n<p>Below is a watercolor of the coit tower.<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/www.imageswithin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/02\/sfcoit_tower.jpg\" alt=\"Coit Tower Watercolor\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I also started this sketch, but stopped after a while&#8230; too many buildings and not enough time.<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/www.imageswithin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/02\/sfviewfromcoit.jpg\" alt=\"SF View - Coit Tower\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There is a restaurant on the corner of Union and Grant called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.destijl.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Cafe DeStijl\">Cafe DeStijl<\/a>, I have gone past it but never eaten there (It appears the location is under new ownership). I typically just get water\/soda, today however I decided to try their smoked salmon with avocado sandwich.. it was excellent!!!  Below is a cellphone picture of the half-eaten sandwich, figured better take a picture before its completely eaten.<\/p>\n<p><img src=\"https:\/\/www.imageswithin.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/02\/salmonlunch.jpg\" alt=\"Smoked Salmon with Avocado\" \/><\/p>\n<p>For those that are wondering, here are the ingredients: smoked salmon, avocado, sprouts, tomatoes and capers on foccacia, served with green beans and carrots.<\/p>\n<p>All in all, it was a productive day all around.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It sure was nice to be in San Francisco on Tuesday, it was a very nice and sunny day.
